It's not my favorite sequel in the franchise, but it definitely holds a special place in my heart. Would love to rewatch it again! It's the last movie where we see all of our favorite characters alive, happy, successful, and most importantly, together!
This fact makes rewatching Scream 4 more personal and warm for me.
I am still convinced that Scream 4 as a "requel" is much better and more respectful of OG than the sequel.
There still deservedly put the trio in the spotlight, but also competently introduced new characters for the future (Kirby, Judy), while evenly distributing their roles.
It's also the first film in the franchise that being a product of the 2010s put an emphasis on gore and violence, showing us the toughest and bloodiest Ghostface at the time (and still is).
In the movies after the first we never see or hear from Billy's father again. We don't know if he's dead or alive. But Mrs Loomis went crazy after Billy was killed by Sidney. So is it possible that he was murder by his ex wife I mean he did cheat on her with Sidney's mother.
On an IMDb page about Scream 7, there's some information in the trivia. Is this false information though? Because these details have never been revealed before... and it mentions Sam in the movie, which is not possible, as Melissa won't be returning... weird š¤·āāļøš¤·āāļø

Usually, I'm not VERY scared when I watch the scream movies, but ngl.... Scream 5 scared the shit out of me. Like during Dewey's death scene... along with being deeply saddened by his death, the 'Yes, today' and 'it's an honor' was.... oh gosh.... that voice was definitely the scariest ghostface voice I've heard...
Btw, I was watching the movie on an airplane... and when Wes was entering the house and jumpscared Judy, I spilled my orange juice on my seat... š„² and Judy's death scene was pretty scary too. (and sad, ofc.)
I think Scream 5 is my least favorite of the Scream movies bc tbh it was a bit boring and plain, but it was definitely the scariest (if they both make sense together, lol).
I read the rumors and I really hope that they don't ignore the events of the 5th and 6th movies in the 7th part! I understand how that messy incident happened, but even then, don't let those movies go to waste!
As you can see here, it has been reported that Courteney Cox is in talks to return as Gale Weathers in Scream 7. The film is set to see the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, with Kevin Williamson directing with a story from James Vanderbilt & Guy Busick and written by Guy Busick.

As you may or may not know, Neve Campbell is returning to the Scream franchise, and will be reprising her role as Sidney in Scream 7, and Kevin Williamson is directing it.
I can understand why people were mad when Melissa was fired, and Jenna left, but oh gosh.... people on reddit and netizens are getting mad at the fact that Neve is returning? They're saying stuff like this is her response to Melissa's firing and she doesn't care about Melissa. It makes zero sense, as it's not like Melissa decided to not occur in Scream 6 due to Neve's pay dispute. People have become so toxic that atp this fanbase is divided into two different fanbases š¤¦āāļø like y'all be happy Sidney is back. I don't like the fact that Melissa got fired and that Jenna left either, but I'm still VERY happy Sidney is back. Look at the half-full glass people, not the half-empty glass. If Neve didn't come back, the glass wouldn't even be half-full.
Some toxic fans are saying stuff like this franchise is 'garbage' or it's dead now, but how come they didn't say that when Neve didn't appear in Scream 6, and Dewey was not gonna occur due to his death? Gale was practically the only original legacy character then, and people weren't even THAT mad the others weren't there.
Unfortunately, there are no players for it.
One of the founding fathers of the Scream franchise turns 59.
Let's wish the creator all the best and success in directing the upcoming Scream 7.

I didn't realize this wiki existed- But Hello! I'm Jester the axolotl- can I get some oreos? (Feel free to introduce yourself) @Zepp3.0 @GhostfaceWithShotgun (I figured you guys would be in this wiki-)
I get that he's also an iconic villain in the series, but he won't be coming back because he's dead. The TV fell on his head, the equivalent of a gunshot to the head. In addition, he was shocked by the electricity.
And in my opinion, I prefer Mickey.
